On Monday, June 9th, The Mayor’s International Trade and Development Council for Africa hosted a Welcome Reception in honor of a visiting delegation from Ministry of Energy and Oil of the Republic of Niger. The reception, held at the Westin Galleria, offered the delegation, led by the Minister of Energy and Oil, His Excellency Mr. Foumakoye Gado, the opportunity to meet the MITDC Africa as well as other leaders in Houston’s African and business community in order to capitalize on opportunities for collaboration.
Minister Gado was joined by The Ambassador of Niger to the U.S., His Excellency Mr. Maman Sidikou; The Ambassador of Gabon to the U.S., His Excellency Mr. Michael Moussa-Adamo; The Niger Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, Mr. Oumarou Ali Beidi; and The Niger Director General of Hydrocarbons, Mr. Adolphe Gbaguidi.
