kinder_institute_logoIn 1982, Dr. Stephen Klineberg began producing the Houston Area Survey, a report which has become one of the longest running and most in depth studies of any American city. Now in its 33rd year, the Houston Area Survey has new facts to share with us about America’s new city of opportunity and the people who make it great. Covering a full spectrum of population demographics, attitudes and self-perceptions, the Houston Area Survey is a living autobiography, told and interpreted by Houstonians, charting the continued development of one of the world’s great metropolises.

For more information, please read the survey directly, which has been linked below, and feel free to watch the trailer for the documentary Interesting Times.
