Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum–Where Business Takes Place; March 25, 2014

IACCGH Business Procurement ForumOn March 25, 2014 for the Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum will take place from 8:00 am to 10:30 am at Houston Community College Southwest, 5601 W. Loop South, 1st Floor Auditorium, Houston, Texas 77081. The cost for this event is $5.00 at the door.

The Forum will host various institutions that will discuss various business opportunities and will give information about how to do business with their respective organizations. The forum will also feature a keynote address by Mayor Annise D. Parker, as well as City of Houston Chief Procurement Officer, Ms. Lourdes Coss, and Director of the City of Houston’s Office of Business Opportunity, Ms. Carlecia D. Wright.

There will be opportunities for business to business networking from 8:00 am to 8:30 am and business matchmaking from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. City of Houston departments that will participate in the matchmaking include: General Services, Housing and Community Development, Houston Airport System, Public Works and Engineering, and Strategic Purchasing. Registration for the matchmaking session will be conducted on-site.
